Trim Tab collects your utility data solely for the purpose of evaluating energy retrofit projects and your building’s energy performance. This includes estimating energy and cost savings during the planning process, sizing equipment property, validating energy and cost savings after a retrofit project is completed, and benchmarking building performance.
We do not provide or sell customer lists to any outside company for marketing, targeted advertising, solicitation or any other such purpose.
Trim Tab is committed to ensuring that our relationship with you is conducted with integrity and in a responsible, fair, honest and ethical manner. Consistent with these objectives we maintain high standards of confidentiality with respect to the personal information in our possession.
By authorizing your utility data to Trim Tab, you are providing us with access to your name, address, account number, and historical energy use data (up to two years), including any utility data on a go-forward basis.
Once you authorize Trim Tab to collect your utility data, we download and store it in a secure cloud environment. we have security procedures to safeguard and protect your personal information against loss, theft, unauthorized disclosure, copying, and unauthorized use or modification.
Our employees are trained to maintain the security and confidentiality of your personal information.
You may revoke Trim Tab’s access at any point, by re entering the Green Button portal for your respective utility and terminating access. You may also set an end date during the authorization process. If you need any help with this, please contact us and we will help you through this process.
